Momentix aka. Mathias is a Danish-born producer and DJ based in Amsterdam.

Having a strong passion for music since childhood, playing the guitar when he was younger, in early adulthood he discovered the magical world of electronic music.

One of his friends from Denmark introduced Mathias to the Dutch electronic festival scene, inviting him to A State of Trance back in 2019.

After attending the festival, everything changed for Mathias. In that moment he knew that he wanted to bring people together through music.

When he got back home to Denmark, he started having late night jam sessions with his friend. They would stay up through the wee hours of the night, drinking beers and jamming on a midi keyboard while having fun in FL Studio.

These nights were the prologue to what would soon follow: a whole-hearted passion for DJ’ing and creating electronic music from scratch.

Over the course of the next three years, Mathias began making his own music as well as bootlegs of popular dance tracks. He started playing at parties, events, clubs and bars all around Denmark, and soon his stage name Momentix emerged.

After exploring what the Danish nightlife had to offer, Momentix was more than ready to expand his horizon and move towards his big dream - to play in the mekka of electronic dance music; the Netherlands.

This dream became a reality when he moved to Amsterdam in the beginning of 2024. Only a few weeks after moving there, he was invited to play at a local dance club in Amsterdam (Oosterbar). At Oosterbar he met a lot of great people, and has played several other events and venues since, including an event during ADE 2024, rooftop bars and local clubs
